Pact of Favors. Pact of Favors is the currency of the trickster's kingdom. When a debt is sworn to them in earnest — not flattery, not polite promise, but the real weight of obligation — it is recorded somewhere the trickster cannot see, in a ledger older than any city. When the trickster calls the favor in, the debtor cannot refuse. The universe arranges the collection: a door left unlocked, a witness looking away, a horse found waiting at the right gate. The debtor does not always know they have paid. Sometimes they simply find themselves doing the trickster's will and call it coincidence. The trickster has learned to spend favors carefully. A large one called in cheaply is gone forever, and the ledger does not forgive waste.
