Omen-Sight
Omen-Sight. Omen-Sight is the oracle's reading of the world's small warnings. A bird crossing the path from left to right. A cup dropped and shattered in a particular pattern. The cracks that appear in a heated stone. The way a sick person breathes in the third hour of fever. To the oracle, these are not accidents. They are sentences in a language the world is always speaking, and the oracle has spent their life learning to read it. The omens do not predict the future in detail. They indicate its weather — approaching trouble, receding danger, a change in the wind of fortune. The oracle has learned to act on the small signs and ignore the urge to dismiss them as coincidence. Coincidence, they have found, is usually just an omen the reader was too lazy to interpret.
